Popular culture. The Barceloneta Spring Festivities present the neighbourhood’s annual giant gathering.
The 33rd Barceloneta-Port Vell Giants Meeting is being held on Saturday, 24 May.
Giants from various city neighbourhoods and other locations will be on display from 5 pm.
At 6 pm there’s a procession around different streets in the neighbourhood, ending up in
Pl. Poeta Boscà around 6.30 pm, where there’s a presentation of the participants
and a dance display. The street parade will then carry on to the Moll de Pescadors.
