38th City of Barcelona International Table Tennis Trophy

Table tennis. The reigning champion, Darko Jorgic, currently ranked 10 in the world, heads a top-class line-up bringing the finest in international table tennis to Barcelona.

The TICB Table Tennis is back on Saturday, 29 November, with the sports hall at La Salle Bonanova hosting one of the most eagerly awaited events of the season, featuring four top-class players and promising to be a memorable edition.

Besides Slovenia’s Darko Jorgic, another of this year’s big attractions is Panagiotis Gionis, a living sports legend having taken part in six Olympic Games.

The US player Kanak Jha, currently ranked 23rd in the world and one of the most explosive players on today's circuit, will also be playing in this tournament for the first time.

The top players from Catalonia and Spain include Álvaro Robles, the first Spanish finalist at a World Championship and European champion in mixed doubles, as well as Juan Pérez, runner up in the last Spanish championships and a competitor in the Bundesliga, playing his first TICB and aiming for a historic podium spot.
