L'Auditori offers a presentation of the acoustic version of three fundamental works by the British composer Brian Eno. As part of the Subsònic cycle, the Ensemble Dedalus will be offering a live performance of Discreet Music (1975), Music for Airports (1978) and Thursday Afternoon (1985), three iconic discs that have left their mark on the history of ambient music.

This concert is an excellent chance to rediscover the soundscape of Brian Eno in an acoustic format, a more intimate and experimental version that transports the spectator to the heart of his innovative work, influenced by composers such as Erik Satie and John Cage.

De Toulouse arriba l’Ensemble Dedalus, amb un repertori cabdal per entendre el desenvolupament tant de la música experimental actual com del pop. Es tracta de tres discs fonamentals de l’ ambient, del compositor, productor i artista sonor britànic Brian Eno, reconegut pels seus treballs amb grups com U2, Coldplay i Roxy Music, del qual també va formar part. Dedalus interpreta les seves pròpies versions acústiques de Discreet Music (1975), Music for Airports (1978) i Thursday Afternoon (1985). Influït per Erik Satie, John Cage i La Monte Young, l’ ambient d’Eno ha esdevingut una peça clau de la música del segle XX, fet que els Dedalus ens recorden amb aquesta original proposta.
