These artists make their debut at La Mercè and arrive at the Jardins de Joan Maragall determined to show you that a rope... is much more than a bundle of intertwined threads. Through movement and rope manipulation, you will see these objects as symbols of connection, bonding and unity. What if we told you that a rope could embrace you with tenderness and offer an emotional exchange that goes beyond material things? 

A creation by Catarina Gameiro and Mariana Frazão, featuring Denys Stetsenko, Danylo Kliutsko (kobza) and Eva Parmenter (concertina). If your curiosity has been sparked, come and see whether it is true that once you pull on them, ropes emit a vibration that reaches far beyond the rope itself.

All performances at this venue have reduced volume and reserved space for people with reduced mobility.
