The Latin and Anglo-Saxon worlds merge in the music of an artist with poetic depth and a strong sense of innovation. You’ll see it in a project that originates in Barcelona, with half a life spent in London, blending diverse genres to speak to us about love and its contradictions, but also about lust in urban life. Bold and sophisticated, it’s said to be her most refined and emotionally resonant work to date.

elsas trained in classical music from a very young age and later became involved in vocal work. She created In Crescendo, the group that won the TV3 competition Oh Happy Day (2014), and went on to study jazz singing and composition at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London, where she also learned composition for large ensembles and electronic production.

She made her recording debut in 2021 with the experimental EP The Art of the Concrete, which includes alternative pop, jazz, and choral music, and showcases innovation in composition. She has collaborated with artists such as Sampha, Little Simz, Florence and the Machine, Jordan Rakei, Jockstrap, Obongjayar, Black Country New Road, and Genevieve Artadi (KNOWER). In parallel, elsas explores Mediterranean roots with her medieval vocal ensemble Idrisi Ensemble
