‘The Trains of the Centenary: The Railway Heritage of the Barcelona Metro’

The space located in front of the Farinera del Clot Cultural Centre, in the Plaça de les Glòries area, will host the exhibition The Trains of the Centenary. The Railway Heritage of the Barcelona Metro, where you’ll be able to see the historic trains that have been restored to mark the Centenary of the Metro.

The exhibition features five series of iconic trains that, since the start of service in 1924 and until relatively few years ago, have served passengers on their metro journeys.

The cars of the 100, 300, 400, 1100 and 3000 series can be visited in a large 1200 m² tent on the esplanade in front of the Farinera del Clot. Visitors will be able to see these five historic trains, as well as walk through their interior on walkways located at the height of the different cars.

Admission is free and visitors will be able to purchase themed products marking the Centenary of the Metro.
