Poble-sec will be hosting the Santa Madrona Festivities from 14 to 16 March.
During the weekend, the neighbourhood will become the setting for a festival featuring and organised by various collectives from Poble-sec, making the most of the proximity on the calendar to the celebration of Santa Madrona, the third patron saint of the city.
On Sunday 16 March at 12 noon, you’ll have the chance to enjoy the Castellers del Poble-sec (human tower group), known as the Bandarres. They will be building their towers right in the centre of Plaça de Santa Madrona. Following this there will be a botifarrada, or sausage fest, and then musical bingo to round off the festivities.

Del 15 al 17 de març, el Poble-sec celebra les festes de Santa Madrona. Les entitats del barri han organitzat una quinzena d’activitats on no falten actuacions de colles de cultura popular com els Castellers del barri.
Durant el cap de setmana, el barri es converteix en l’escenari d’una festa protagonitzada i organitzada per diversos col·lectius del Poble-sec, aprofitant la proximitat del calendari a la celebració de Santa Madrona, tercera patrona de la ciutat, molt present al Poble-sec.
