La Font Màgica i les fonts de l’eix Maria Cristina romandran apagades a causa de l’activació del protocol de sequera a la ciutat

Light and colour show. One of Barcelona’s most popular attractions, to enjoy a special night.

The Magic Fountain was constructed by Carles Buïgas for the 1929 Barcelona International Exhibition and is the main feature of the set of waterfalls and ponds along the Maria Cristina central axis linking Palau Nacional and Plaça d'Espanya in Montjuïc.

Montjuïc’s Magic Fountain has become one of Barcelona’s symbols with its music, light and colour shows. It has around 7 billion water and light combinations, thanks to the possibilities it has to play with the available hydraulic elements and lighting options. Every day, it spurts 2,600 litres of water per second to the rhythm of all types of songs from Disney tunes to classical music, via soundtracks and tunes from the 1980s and 1990s.

You can consult the timetables and find out the details of how it works here.
