Mediterranean. A collection of creative handcrafted games inspired by Basque mythology for audiences of all ages.

This fun installation awaits adults and children alike at the Espai Camí 2 in the Parc de l’Estació del Nord.

A recreational area where we’ll find boards that delve us into a world of legends, inhabited by characters such as Basajaun, the wild man of the woods, protector of shepherds and herds; Tartalo, a cyclops who lives in the most remote caves and traps and eats young people that go in them; the Galtzagorris, mischievous elves like in many other cultures, dressed in red trousers, and Amalur, Mother Earth, goddess of goddesses, who gives life to all living beings.

Larun is divided into two more spaces: one with games that put our strategic skills, aim and teamwork to the test, and another called Material Montessori, where toddlers up to the age of 3 can handle materials and experience different sensations. An activity which fosters children’s autonomy and confidence.
