Wordless performance

Who is this gigantic figure emerging from underground, moving with the slow absurdity of someone hyperbolic by nature? He rises at the Sardenya entrance to the park – a large, slow body awakening, chest puffed up and full of air. He’s held up by scaffolding. Because he’s not a finished monument, but a celebration of the unfinished. He’s a body in process, a work under perpetual construction. Aren’t we all? 

This half-made giant is a foreword: a beginning before the beginning. A restrained outcry. An early glimpse of what’s to come. We’ll meet you at the feet of this giant created by Marc Salicrú – intermedia artist, light designer, set designer and musician.
