Punk. The most rebellious of groups take to the stage for La Mercè 2025.
During La Mercè 2025, on Tuesday 23 September, the most explosive and combative band are coming to Plaça Catalunya with a performance charged with political activism. Pussy Riot are the Russian feminist punk band universally renowned for their direct criticism of power.
Hosted by the ARTISTS at RISK (AR) collective, they have undertaken a residency in Barcelona during which they prepared a new version of their acclaimed RIOT DAYS show, which they are currently touring worldwide. The show, as the members of this anti-authoritarian group of artists explain, “is not just a concert, it’s a declaration, it’s our manifesto. It’s not just music, it’s theatre and resistance! In the name of freedom”.
