The fleet of twelve teams is divided between invited teams and the teams of the Louis Vuitton 37th America's Cup. From 5 to 9 October, there will be the classification series, consisting of a total of eight races for both groups.

The three best teams from each group will move on to a final series of four races on 10 October to decide the top two teams that will face off in a final Match Race, taking place on Sunday 13 October, with the winner taking home the trophy.

Al costat dels sis participants oficials establerts que representen Nova Zelanda, Gran Bretanya, Itàlia, Suïssa, Estats Units i França, se sumen sis nous equips d’Espanya, Països Baixos, Canadà, Alemanya, Suècia i Austràlia. La incorporació de nous equips i països encara augmenta més l'expectació d'una experiència nàutica extraordinària.
