Synopsis

Dinorah died yesterday at home in Madrid. “Her” people have come together for Abelut, the Jewish mourning period when the closest family members take time out for seven days. Seven days to mourn together.

For a few days, they all abandon their heady reality, void of rituals, to become immersed in this collective reclusion. Together as a result of a past narrative, now undone, what do these people have in common? What they are sure to share is a fear of what is coming: to have children or not, break with our people to move forward, be able to get excited despite grim outlooks.
