Twelfth Night. Barcelona gets ready to welcome the magic of Their Majesties and their entourage

Their Majesties will arrive by sea at 4.30 pm at Portal de la Pau. At 6 pm, the parade will begin, filling the city with magic and spectacle.

Are you ready to welcome Their Majesties? It all begins with the arrival of Melchior, Gaspar and Balthazar at Portal de la Pau. They will dock at 4.30 pm, where they will be welcomed by the Mayor, Jaume Collboni. What will he offer Their Majesties on arrival? Bread and salt – symbols of hospitality – along with the magic key that opens every home, allowing them to deliver their gifts.

Then, at 6 pm, the parade will set off, following the same route as in previous years: starting on Av. Marquès de l’Argentera and Pg. Colom before continuing along Av. Paral·lel and Rda. Sant Pau. After passing Sant Antoni Market, the parade will head along C / Sepúlveda and end at Plaça d’Espanya.

Set designers, choreographers, musicians, dancers and artists from all over the city have joined forces to create a spectacular parade that combines cutting-edge technology with dazzling displays of local talent and creativity.

The show combines tradition and technological innovation with choreography and street performance, showcasing the best the city has to offer. This year, Ramon de los Heros, José Menchero and Carles Berga have created new stage elements, while international artists contribute their own unique vision to the festivities. The parade also features original musical compositions by local artists, accompanying the royal entourage.

Children and adults alike are invited to share in this magical moment – a time when everyone can feel like a child again. There will be coal and sweets for all!
