Scientific dissemination. The event will explore how to communicate and inform about the drought and other effects of climate change, in order to actively inform and advocate for measures to mitigate its impact.

On 18 and 19 September, the 14th Campus Gutenberg - Museu de la Ciència CosmoCaixa will be held, the aim being to continue recognise and disseminate inspired practice in science communication.

Among those taking part will be Sonia Seneviratne, a leading expert from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), who will be presenting the latest evidence on climate extremes and the IPCC's new and future research, and CSIC research professor and communicator Fernando Valladares, who will share practical tools and advice on how to tackle this challenge from the communication perspective.

Campus Gutenberg will cover topics such as frontier science, health communication, artificial intelligence, and the impact of social networks on the dissemination of knowledge, exploring how these disciplines are interrelated and their role in the construction of a sustainable future.

The event will be in Spanish.

Apassionat/da per la comunicació científica? El Campus Gutenberg obre les seves inscripcions gratuïtes per a les jornades anuals de comunicació i cultura científiques. Aquest any tindrà lloc els dies 18 i 19 de setembre, al Museu de la Ciència CosmoCaixa, a Barcelona.

El tema central d'aquest any és “La sequera”: com informar millor i quines accions prendre des de la comunicació pública davant d'aquesta greu emergència?”. Per això, comptarem amb la participació de Sonia Seneviratne, de l'Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), així com Fernando Valladares que ens compartirà eines i consells. Aquest any també tindrem un espectacle sobre aigua i ciència ficció a càrrec de Patricia López Gómez.

Abordarem molts més temes; ciència de frontera, comunicació en salut, ciència europea, intel·ligència artificial, xarxes socials i molt més. Els formats també són diversos: pòsters, debats, laboratoris didees, taules rodones, microxerrades etc. Fes una ullada al programa i descobreix tot el que ofereix aquesta edició.
