The 6th edition of the Ohlalà! Barcelona Francophone Film Festival will be taking place from 27 November to 3 December at the Institut Français.

This year you’ll have the chance to see 16 contemporary French-language feature films that have triumphed at international film festivals like Cannes. There will also be the section Ohlalà! Teens, dedicated to adolescents, and a special evening of short French-language films in collaboration with the FILMETS Badalona Film Fest.

The festival will also feature a retrospective dedicated to the films of Nicole Garcia, presenting three of her most significant works: L’Adversaire (2002), based on the novel of the same name by Emmanuel Carrère; Mal de pierres (From the Land of the Moon, 2016), which explores the complexities of love and sacrifice; and Place Vendôme (1998), a crime drama full of intrigue, starring Catherine Deneuve.

All the films will be subtitled in Catalan or Spanish.
