Decorate Christmas with stained glass windows at the Casa Amatller Christmas is coming and at the Casa Amatller we want to fill these holidays with magic, light and colour. We look forward to welcoming you for a unique family activity where, after a stroll through what was once the house of Antoni and Teresa Amatller, you’ll have the chance to make your own decorative stained glass window for the Christmas tree. The Casa Amatller, the work of Josep Puig i Cadafalch, is a jewel of Catalan modernism. The main floor preserves the original apartment where the Amatller family lived, with furniture, objects and details that explain the daily life of a family from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The stained glass windows of the house, with bright colours and delicate shapes, are an example of the art and creativity that inspire our activity: each participant will be able to reproduce these motifs and take home a little piece of the magic of Casa Amatller. After the workshop, the children will be able to enjoy a small chocolate shot, a sweet reminder of the most traditional Christmas.
