Cuban salsa and timba - Barcelona/Cuba
Alberto Muguercia Ramos and Alcibiades Durruthy López created a band in Barcelona in 2022 dedicated to the Cuban musical tradition and the most authentic timba, sounds which they are bringing to life by combining them with contemporary elements. The project's name comes from the three most classic beats (TUM-BA-KIN) in Cuban rumba. Since they were founded, they've toured Europe and performed at festivals on the continent, where they have gained a reputation as prominent representatives of the new generation of European Cuban music. If you were looking for a concert where you can shake your hips a bit, you’ll dance the night away at this one.
