Cultural policies. The world’s biggest cultural policy conference, where the 194 states belonging to UNESCO will together define the global agenda for culture.

Mondiacult 2025, a summit of ministers accompanied by exhibitions and parallel activities, is being held in Barcelona from 29 September to 1 October. The intergovernmental sessions will decide the main lines of action for the global policies of the future, to be set out in the Declaration of Barcelona, and the international regulatory frameworks established that will contribute to the sustainability of the sector.

The meeting will address six themes; cultural rights, digital technologies in the cultural sector; culture and education; the culture economy; culture and climate action, and culture, heritage and crisis.

Durant tres dies, la ciutat de Barcelona acollirà els 194 Estats Membres de la UNESCO per a la constitució d'una agenda mundial per a la Cultura i per al seguiment dels objectius definits a l'anterior edició, celebrada a Mèxic el 2022 i signada per 150 Estats .

A Mondiacult 2025 es presentarà el Primer Informe Mundial sobre l'Estat de la Cultura i es perseguirà un doble gran objectiu: defensar la Cultura com a Bé Públic Global i promoure la creació d'un Objectiu de Desenvolupament Sostenible específic per a la Cultura.
