Theatre. A contemporary stage reflection on the origins and current state of Europe through one of the epic poems of Western culture.

Synopsis

To celebrate ten years of the Moreno Bernardi Atelier, Italian choreographer and director Moreno Bernardi is staging Alberto Conejero’s adaptation of The Odyssey in what he describes as a ‘polyphonic, intimate, reflective, and revealing composition.’ The text on which the production is based, revised by the author for the Grec performances, identifies the new Cyclops or Sirens of the world of our time. The staging highlights the modernity of this classical tragedy and invites us to participate in the eternal conversation between the classical and the contemporary.
