Mercè 2025: Liceu BLAM Collective

Modern music. The group of students from El Liceu will be performing songs by Bob Marley & The Wailers.

The group Liceu BLAM Collective are offering a free concert on Wednesday 24 September as part of the programme for La Mercè. The performance is in the Jardins del Doctor Pla i Armengol, in the Guinardó neighbourhood.

The outfit is made up of students from the Department of Jazz and Modern Music at the Conservatori Superior de Música Liceu. Under the supervision of the teachers Pedro Campos and Alex Dee, they will be offering versions of songs by Bob Marley & The Wailers.

The Liceu BLAM Collective is the result of collaboration between the Conservatori Liceu and Barcelona City Council, the goal being for students to perform on high-profile stages such as those at La Mercè, showcasing their talent and learning.
