21st International Puppet Festival

Traductor de Google:

Puppets. The programme champions auteur theatre, creative freedom and a variety of theatrical forms, with performances combining puppetry, object theatre, shadow theatre, music and plenty of humour.

From 9 October to 1 November, Teatre La Puntual will host the 21st edition of the Festival Internacional de Putxinel·lis [International Puppet Festival] in Barcelona, a leading event for puppet and object theatre that has become one of the city’s most prominent specialist festivals.

This year’s festival will bring together four companies from England, Italy, Castile and León and the Balearic Islands, showcasing high-quality performances in Barcelona, most of which will be presented at La Puntual for the first time.

True to its mission of promoting the art of puppetry, the festival will once again turn La Puntual into a meeting place for international creators and audiences of all ages. Over four weekends, the theatre will become a space where imagination, tradition and innovation come together on stage.
