The performers in this contemporary dance piece will keep your eyes glued to their synchronised movements and your ears alert to their hypnotic sounds. With movement and music, the artists aim to convey a message about the importance of traditional group practices that have either disappeared or are at risk of disappearing. These must be preserved, even as we invent new ways of expressing ourselves collectively in a changing world increasingly shaped by technological advances. 

Jarana brings to a close a series of activities focused on traditional group practices, rooted in our human need for connection and belonging.
