Manchester is home to a rich community of poets and spoken-word artists working across many styles and languages. Meet some of the city’s leading poetry performers today in a captivating selection of short films. 

The films presented here speak of identity, unity, resistance and resilience. Manchester UNESCO City of Literature has curated this collection of short films and is now sharing them with Catalan audiences in Barcelona, which, like Manchester, is a UNESCO City of Literature.
