A choreographer who is a touchstone for exploring the latest forms of flamenco presents Postablao , an encounter between dance and music artists in an improvisational format. They interact within altered tablao structures, where the transformation of traditional formats opens up new creative possibilities: from projecting artistic films of cantaores and cantaoras to using an electronic synthesiser in place of a guitar. 

In Postablao , flamenco, cante , music and baile become elastic and ever-changing. Juan Carlos Lérida is one of the leading figures in avant-garde flamenco. He curated the Flamenco Empírico series at Mercat de les Flors until 2009 and is currently the director of the Flamenco Festival at Tanzhaus (Düsseldorf).
