Mooby Cinemas are marking the 45th anniversary of the iconic film El Resplandor (The Shining) by Stanley Kubrick with a special screening at the Aribau Cinema.

Released in 1980, El Resplandor is regarded as a horror masterpiece that has left its mark on popular culture. The film tells the story of Jack Torrance, a writer who moves with his family to the isolated Hotel Overlook in winter, where he comes up against supernatural powers that put his mental health to the test.

An hour before the screening, ICONS by MOOBY and the Sitges Festival invite you to a pre-party drink with a DJ session.

Based on the novel by Stephen King, the film stars Jack Nicholson and Shelley Duvall and can be seen on one of the biggest screens in 4K.
