Verdaguer and Gaudí, poetry and architecture at the foot of Collserola

Traductor de Google:

Guided tour. Given the outbreak of African swine fever the routes around the Parc de Collserola are not permitted. The activity is temporarily only available at the Torre Bellesguard.

This route connects two important spaces in the lives of Verdaguer and Gaudí. Vil·la Joana, the country house where Verdaguer spent his last days and which today is one of the centres of the Museu d'Història de Barcelona, and the Torre Bellesguard, the work that Gaudí was building at that time, with some gardens worthy of the verses of Verdaguer.

While the friendship between the two is widely known, what is not so familiar is the dialogue between poetry and architecture resulting from their relationship.

This route aims to reveal this connection between poetry and architecture straddling the 19th and 20th centuries, between two of this country’s most fundamental figures.

The activity is offered on the last Friday of the month.
