31st Big Heart Festival at Tibidabo Amusement Park

Solidarity festival. A fun day in support of children and young people with congenital heart disease and their families.

The Tibidabo Amusement Park is opening its doors to the Association for Congenital Heart Disease (AACIC) on Saturday 8 November, hosting the Gran Festa, a big party in support of children and young people born with a heart condition, or suffering from one diagnosed or acquired during childhood.

Programme:

From 11 am and throughout the day:

Meeting point: stall with information on the impact of living with heart disease
Market: stalls with solidarity material
Workshop Draw a picture for a child who's in the hospital
Entertainment by the Bastons de Santa Coloma de Gramenet group and the Associació Batucada S.C.G (stick-dancing and drumming)
Entertainment by hospital clowns from the organisation

At 11.30 am:

Central ceremony
Releasing of hearts in memory of children and young people who are no longer with us
Family photo
Bollywood show directed by Silvia Carreras with the Bollywood groups Odena, Bollywood El Prat, Dil Dance and Om Shanti Om; plus a Hula performance with the group Ke Aloha Hula

At 4.45 pm:

Solidarity draw with the Tibidabo mascots

At 5 pm:

Afternoon snack for young people aged 16 to 30.

La Gran Festa del Cor és la festa anual que organitzem des de l'AACIC per donar visibilitat als infants i adolescents que conviuen amb una cardiopatia. En els seus inicis, es celebrava de forma itinerant en diversos indrets de Catalunya, però des de l'any 2004 vam trobar un espai fix i emblemàtic que ens permet aplegar un gran nombre de persones: el Tibidabo. Des d'aleshores, el Parc és l'escenari d'aquest dia ple d'emocions, diversió i solidaritat.

Les entrades

Les 2.000 primeres entrades que es venguin pel dia de la festa seran solidàries: 2 € de cadascuna es donaran a l'entitat. Es podran adquirir prèviament a tibidabo.cat o el mateix dia de la festa a les taquilles del parc.

Els beneficis es destinaran als projectes que l'entitat duu a terme en els hospitals: A cor obert, projecte d'atenció psicosocial a famílies amb fills i filles hospitalitzades; i Fem més agradables les estades a l'hospital, projecte d'entreteniment i acompanyament a infants i adolescents hospitalitzats.
