Catalonia. Physical theatre – contemporary urban dance. Barcelona premiere

Have you ever spoken with a machine? Here you’ll witness a dialogue between the human and the artificial recounted through movement. You’ll explore the fragility of social bonds in a time of hyperconnection and automation, as you witness yourself becoming immersed in a physical and emotional universe where the real world and the digital merge without asking permission. This is Famulus 4.0 ( famulus means “servant” in Latin), which talks about the Fourth Industrial Revolution, artificial intelligence, the use of technology and affective bonds in today’s digital era. You’ll see poetry, transgression and the latest dances by a company that has merged breakdance with the performing arts since 2013, exploring past, present and future, always with innovation as the driver of transformation and using the visual arts and technology.
