Joan Proubasta’s Sherlock Holmes collection at the Arús Library

This collection was donated on 29 March 2011 and can be visited through guided tours that reveal details of its invaluable content. The library also hosts temporary exhibitions that present a painstaking selection of pieces with the goal of exploring different aspects related to novels, the detective genre, the author and related topics.

Sherlock Holmes is an iconic figure in detective fiction and one of the most influential characters in the history of literature.

Wholly devoted to the universe of this celebrated detective and his creator, the collection brings together a broad assortment of materials: books, magazines, comics, figures, films, posters, records and merchandising, among other curiosities that fascinate fans and scholars alike.

Currently located on the building's third floor, the collection is not available for consultation because it has not yet been catalogued.
