Una força del passat brings together a collection of works, mainly from the contemporary art collection of the Fundació "la Caixa", a broad and varied selection that constitutes an inexhaustible source of ideas, narratives, and ways of interpreting our culture and our time.

The display brings together works that include paintings, sculptures, mythology and iconography from the past through quotes, appropriation, homage and critical confrontation.

The exhibition poses a simple yet decisive question: what does it mean to look back in a time that seems condemned to the continuous present?
