The exhibition Mirades de Gegant commemorates 110 years of the Sant Roc giants of the Plaça Nova (Roc and Laieta), created in 1905 and considered the oldest local giants still active in Barcelona.

The exhibition explains the social, festival and urban history of the Cathedral neighbourhood from the point of view of its festive figures, highlighting how Roc and Laieta have been a key element in local residents’ cohesion, identity and resistance in facing the changes and adversities the neighbourhood has suffered over time.
